AUDIENCE ANALYSIS

What does the audience like?

LIKE

Classic original fairytales

This audience loves the real, original, classic fairy tales. What I’ve noticed is that actually mostly adults and older viewers watch videos in this niche. These stories bring back memories for them, and they really enjoy the way videos are edited (as you’ll see in the video analysis below). The most important thing in this niche is to highlight that you’re sharing the one and only original version of each story. They want to feel like they’re discovering something authentic. The version they were never told, or the one they forgot from childhood.

LIKE

High-Quality AI Animation

These viewers really enjoy how the competition tells the stories using Disney Pixar–style AI editing. But it’s not just the visuals they use, it’s also the sound effects and the way everything is combined that pulls you straight into the story. You might be thinking, “Isn’t that expensive to make?” Well, the good news is that I found a simple and affordable way to create the same high-quality results yourself which I’ll show you next.

Nice voice-over

Even though it’s most likely an AI voice-over, it actually works really well here. The tone is calm, warm, and a little dreamy, exactly what you want for a fairy tale narration. It gives that classic storytelling vibe that makes you feel like you’re listening to an old bedtime story.

00:16

AI Editing on point

The editing is clearly done with AI, but that’s totally fine because it’s really well made. You can hear how good the sound design is: the soft background effects, the crackling fireplace, everything fits perfectly. The character movements also look smooth and natural. Together, it creates a warm, storybook feeling that pulls you in right from the first second.

00:37

Use of multiple voices

What I really like here is how they switch between voice-overs. They use a female voice whenever the main character speaks, and then the dreamy male voice takes over again to continue telling the story. It’s a great way to keep your video interesting. The contrast between the two voices keeps the viewer engaged and prevents the story from feeling monotone. It also makes the whole video feel more alive and professional, just like a real fairy tale being performed.

1:09

High-quality visuals

One big reason this channel performs better than others is the level of AI quality. The attention to detail is great, even the mouth movements match perfectly with the script, which makes the story so much more enjoyable to watch. It feels more real and natural, not awkward or robotic. And then the visual details, the outfit that looks exactly like Snow White’s, the tiara, the colors, everything fits together perfectly. It shows that the AI they’re using is well-trained and understands the small details that bring the story to life. Of course, the script and the way the story is told will always be the most important part. That’s what keeps viewers emotionally connected. But the visuals and the type of AI used here definitely add a lot of value.

Don'ts

00:00

Bad intro choice

When you click on this video , the first eight seconds only show a screen asking viewers to subscribe. As you probably know, I’m not a fan of this approach. It gives the viewer zero value before asking for a favor. It’s always better to do the opposite: first give the viewer what they came for, then ask for something in return. Or even better: don’t ask at all. People subscribe because they enjoy your content, not because you tell them to.

TITLE RATING

Magical Fairy Tales

Used title 1

The <span class="text-color-orange">Original</span> Story of <span class="text-color-orange">Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs</span> | Stories For Teenagers

I understand why this title works mainly because of the word “Original.” When you look at the comments, you can see that many of the viewers are older, and they love the nostalgic feeling of hearing the classic version again. Some even mention that they didn’t know the real story was this dark or emotional. So using “Original” doesn’t just describe the story, it also connects with that audience who grew up with these fairy tales. However, the ending “Stories for Teenagers” makes it sound too specific and unnecessarily limits your audience. This niche triggers all ages, so that part doesn’t really fit. So overall, the title works well. There’s no need to change it completely, because the results speak for themselves and it’s clearly performing for a reason. Another example:

• The Full Original Story of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs

• The Original Tragic Story of Cinderella

Magical Fairy Tales

Used title 2

<span class="text-color-yellow">Diamonds and Toads</span> | A Tragic Story of Kindness and Vanity

So if you already know Diamonds and Toads, you don’t need the whole “A Tragic Story of Kindness and Vanity” part. It just only explains instead of triggers. It would be stronger to make the title sound more authentic and exclusive, like you’re about to hear the true original version and the one everyone else got here on YouTube is wrong. That gives the viewer a reason to click, even if they already know the story because it creates FOMO.

For example:

  • The Original Diamonds and Toads Story
  • The True Original Story of Diamonds and Toads
  • The Full Original Fairy Tale of Diamonds and Toads

Magical Fairy Tales

Used title 3

<span class="text-color-yellow">Rapunzel💇🏼</span>♀️ The <span class="text-color-orange">Magical Tower</span> and the <span class="text-color-orange">Secret</span> Adventure💛 #fairytales #bedtimestories

This title is a bit messy, and I’d approach it differently. Let me explain why. The hashtags like #fairytales or #bedtimestories don’t really have value inside a YouTube title. To this day, I’m still convinced that this doesn’t add anything to the video’s performance. They don’t improve your ranking, don’t help the algorithm, and don’t make your video easier to find. YouTube doesn’t treat hashtags in titles the same way it does in descriptions, they don’t act as keywords or boost visibility. On top of that, they actually take up valuable space. Hashtags only make it longer and harder to read. So it’s better to keep your title clean and focused. Put your hashtags in the description if you want, but keep the title purely story-driven. That way it looks more professional, performs better, and connects faster with the viewer.

Magical Fairy Tales

Used thumbnail 1

This thumbnail achieved more than 3.7M+ views...

This thumbnail reached over 3.7 million views. And honestly? That’s probably mostly because of the popularity of the story itself, not so much because of the thumbnail it’s not particularly special if you ask me. But that’s actually a good sign, because it proves that even with simple thumbnails that don’t create curiosity or triggers, you can still reach millions of views in this niche. At the same time, I see this as a chance for improvement.

So what could you do instead?

Add more triggers. Create more curiosity. Use FOMO. The goal is to design a thumbnail that, even if someone already knows the fairy tale, they still feel like they have to click. You do that by adding small but powerful trigger words like “Shocking Truth” or “Secret Message.” To sum it up: what the competition is doing works, but if you want to see if you can attract even more clicks, I’d approach it differently. I’ll explain exactly how I’d do that in the next part, “Let’s Create Your Thumbnail.”

How to find topics?

You want to focus on the classic fairy tales people already know, but retold in a unique and high-quality AI style. The power of this niche comes from mixing nostalgia with high quality AI storytelling, giving viewers the same magical stories they grew up with, but in a way they’ve never seen before. Start by looking at which stories perform best for your competitors. You’ll notice that the top videos are usually based on well-known tales like Snow White, Diamonds and Toads, The Beauty and the Beast. The trick is to focus on the original versions of these stories. The darker or more authentic versions that most people haven’t heard before. Adding words like Original, True Story, instantly grabs attention and builds curiosity.

How to create the AI footage?

I can almost hear you thinking: how do I create these visuals? Through the link I share here: https://genaipro.vn/ you can get access to a platform that lets you create VEO3-style content for a very low price. But keep in mind: use it at your own risk. I’m not sure how this website manages to offer it so cheaply, but I’ve been using it myself and so far I’m really happy with it. The quality is great, it’s easy to use, and it’s honestly one of the cheapest ways to create these high-quality AI cartoon visuals.

ChatGPT: In this niche, working with AI makes it very easy to create the original fairy tales. What I’d do first is take a script from one of the videos on this competition channel: Magical Fairy Tales English, and drop it into ChatGPT. From there, you can ask ChatGPT to analyze the writing style. The tone, pacing, and storytelling structure, and then generate your own script in that exact same style.

Google: But you can also use Google for topic inspiration. When I searched for “the most well-known fairy tales,” I found several useful articles that list all the classic stories you can use for your videos.

Topic:

To create my own topic in this niche, I would choose Diamonds and Toads. Even though Snow White has over 3.6 million views and is clearly a long-term winner, Diamonds and Toads is the one being picked up by the algorithm right now. It gained nearly half a million views in just 10 days. That kind of early growth is usually a sign that the topic has momentum, and YouTube is testing it right now with a wider audience. This makes it the perfect moment to create a similar version while interest is high.

The Original Tragic Story of Diamonds and Toads

How to create your title?

I chose to go for this title because it instantly combines three elements that make videos in this niche perform extremely well: emotion, nostalgia, and authenticity. My advice for this niche is to keep titles simple and focus on showing that you’re sharing the one and only true original story. Then you can add one strong trigger word that makes it more emotional, like “Tragic” in this case. So: keep the titles simple, and use the thumbnail to shock or raise questions.

How to create your thumbnail?

I started with ChatGPT. I first asked if it had any ideas for the thumbnail, because I sometimes do that to get inspiration, and Chat came up with this idea. It's a must that the diamonds, and toads were clearly visible in the thumbnail, since that detail instantly shows which fairy tale it is. The difference between the two sisters also had to be very clear.

Getimg.ai

For some reason, I couldn’t get this image in the Disney Pixar style with ChatGPT, so I used a free website: getimg.ai. I entered the prompt “create this image in Disney Pixar style,” and this is the result it gave me.

Photoshop

After that, I went into Photoshop and added some lighting, shadows, a red arrow, and finally the text. I want to explain that this is how you can create a thumbnail that raises more questions than the competition’s and this is the way I’d start with in this niche. Of course, you can also choose to stick with the simpler style that the competitors use, but I believe that by making the thumbnail a bit more triggering and mysterious, you can achieve even better results.

In the end, something like this will be your final result. I chose the text “Shocking Truth” because it immediately raises questions and fits perfectly with the title, where we clearly want to show that this is the one and only original story. It can make viewers wonder things like “Did I miss something?” or “Is the original story actually much darker? and that curiosity is exactly what makes them click.
