Getting what you clicked for, but...
'Today you will learn the complete history of the bible...'
A good trick to grab the viewer's attention right away, is to talk about the title within the first few seconds of the video. Because the reason someone clicks on your video is simply because they have clicked on your title and thumbnail first, of course. By talking directly about the title in the first few seconds of your video, the viewer won't feel like it's clickbait, and they really get what they clicked for. This is the kind of trick Mr. Beast uses as well. Just watch any of his videos, and you will see that in almost all of his videos he will start his video talking about the title. So the first sentence of this video is very good, but how the script continues after that sentence is something I think could be just a little bit better. More about this at don'ts.

Adding subtitles
I would definitely add subtitles in this niche because this is a typical storytelling niche. By adding subtitles, you create more triggers in your video because people have to focus on something, and they can follow the story a lot better.

Nice AI voice over
I think his deep voice fits the story very well. This is a good AI voiceover that can narrate the story well, and I've seen in the comments that many people also enjoy the sound of his deep voice, so I would definitely take an example of this if you want to start in this niche.
01:29
Powerful illustrations
These images were created with AI (Midjourney/Haiper). Adding these images to your video allows you to tell the story even better and allows the viewer to empathize even more. So if you want to start in this niche, it's important that you learn or know how to create images like this or that you can find someone who can do this for you. I'll go into more details about that on 'let's create your video'.
4:27
Motion effects
I like the fact that these AI images have some motion effects. This allows you to display the photo in your video just a little longer, without quickly becoming too boring because the photos are moving. In fact, you will notice that as soon as the photo is zoomed out just a bit more, your eyes will scan the photo again. As a result: the viewer watches your video longer.
Don'ts

Bad, too long sales intro
If you take a look at the target audience who will watch these videos, that are people who want to know more about God/Bible. After the first sentence of this intro, there is some kind of sales pitch, which in turn can be off-putting. If you'd build up the script differently, then you get a much more triggering intro. As example:
'When watching this video, I would recommend opening your heart to the word of God. If you manage to open up completely, then without a doubt you'll love God's word even more....'

✅ This thumbnail achieved more than 2.2M views...
This thumbnail can trigger a lot because it can give the viewer a certain 'creepy' feeling. Although I can well understand why people click on this thumbnail, there are definitely a lot of focus points. If you have to look at a group with a lot of people, then your eye will automatically scan this as one focus point because there are simply too many of them. But there's also a building on the thumbnail, graves and some kind of coffin at the front.

✅ Triggering thumbnail
As we know from the comments, this audience likes the powerful illustrations in the video. By adding the arrow on this thumbnail, the focus goes to the thing hidden in the red color, which can raise a lot of questions such as: Huh? What's that? - Especially when you see the title: What is HELL REALLY like?
For that reason, I think this is a great thumbnail which triggers well with this target audience, they have made good use of a bright red color so that the thumbnail stands out even more and the thing where the arrow is pointing at is unclear to see, but just clear enough that you can tell that something dark is going on there. Great thumbnail!

✅ Facial expressions
What they did very well with this thumbnail is choosing the right facial expressions for this picture. We as humans often recognize different emotions when seeing a picture such as a happy, sad, angry, scared or surprised face. One of the most important things when using a face (or multiple faces in this case) on your thumbnail, is to use the right facial expressions. In fact, if you don't do that right, the thumbnail can give the viewer a completely different feeling. So always try to think carefully about what kind of message you want to convey with your thumbnail, and make sure that you always choose for the right facial expressions. And with this thumbnail, they did a good job.

How do I find topics?
Most topics in this niche are most likely created using AI (ChatGPT). What is important to know is which topics are doing well. Look at the most popular videos on competition channels: Which topics have the most views? Are these videos specific Bible stories, or are they more general? To give you the best possible information in advance, I have already checked this out for you. If we just take a look at our competition channel Bible stories, you will see that the most popular videos are about:
• 5 things that happened after Jesus died.
• 7 types of people who cannot be saved.
• Top 10 most mysterious beings in the Bible.
• What is hell really like?
These are not 'typical' Bible stories if you ask me. And that's good to know because there’s probably something that this audience find very interesting about those videos/topics. Don't get me wrong because I don't mean to say that typical Bible stories won't work, but this is purely based on the most popular videos of the competition channel Bible Stories. I see a pattern about topics on this competition channel where people can still learn from/or be triggered by a lot. So these topics are the more somewhat general videos that are about God or the Bible, which do all have some pretty good views. I will link down below where you can best find these types of topics.
YouTube: • https://www.youtube.com/@BibleStories.official/videos
• https://www.youtube.com/@BibleStories23
ChatGPT: You can also ask ChatGPT a question to write a script about 1600/1700 words about a certain topic you have in mind. But remember to check your AI script to make sure you avoid mistakes. You can also choose to go for a real scriptwriter, and then ideally someone who believes in God and knows a lot of information about this niche. I think that a real scriptwriter can create a more personal touch in the story. Whether you want to work with AI or not, this niche at least shows that it can also be done with AI.
Google: • https://www.biblesociety.org.uk/explore-the-bible/bible-articles/famous-stories-in-the-bible/
TikTok: On TikTok, you can find a lot of topic inspiration. You can easily copy and paste a title from a competition channel into TikTok, and you'll see a lot of videos coming up. Filter on the three dots at the top right of your screen - Sort by - Number of likes:
• 7 Things a Christian Should Be Never Say https://vm.tiktok.com/ZIJnVtjd2/
• Three Men in the Bible That never Died https://vm.tiktok.com/ZIJnVGjUA/
• 7 Signs that God is Testing Your Faith https://vm.tiktok.com/ZIJnVcQRt/
• There are 5 people that will not enter Heaven https://vm.tiktok.com/ZIJnV3U8F/
Topic:
Because I saw that a lot of topic inspiration could be found on TikTok, I continued my search there. I used the title '5 things that happened after Jesus died' of the competition channel Bible Stories and then pasted it into TikTok. I came across this interesting TikTok channel https://www.tiktok.com/@bible.teller.epic?_t=8lctpRnRRuC&_r=1 and saw a lot of videos where you can get a lot of topic inspiration from. Then on the left side of this page you see a symbol with 3 stubs. If you click on that, you can easily filter for the most popular videos of that specific channel, so you can see which topics are doing well.

How to make your thumbnail?
The thumbnails we see on the competition channel were created with AI. I did some research and ended up with the program Midjourney. These thumbnails with AI are most likely made with Midjourney. Through MidJourney Bot in Discord, I used the following prompt:
3 older ancient men, with long beards, sit side by side looking up scared at the sky, watching Father, Jesus in Heaven. Their faces are illuminated in light, in a cinematic, hyperrealistic style. - ar 16:9
Because I have this title: The 3 Men That NEVER DIED in The BIBLE... in mind, I wanted to create 3 men on the thumbnail who looked a bit older with a long beard, so that the title and thumbnail complement each other well.
I chose not to put text on this thumbnail because I simply see that it is not necessarily needed in this niche. As an example: in the Trump niche, it is almost a must to add text to your thumbnail because this is a really typical news-based niche.
So, if you use the same prompt for MidJourney, then something like this will be your end result:
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
What does the audience like?
Powerful illustrations
This target audience enjoys watching those videos because of the illustrations being used in the videos. This helps them to get an even better understanding to stories that are about the Bible.
Worship God
This audience is very religious. They pray a lot in the comments and express their love for God.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
What does the audience not like?
Not answering the title in the video
This is a very good example that shows how important it is, to answer the questions the viewer gets while watching the title. Give the audience what they are clicking for, otherwise there is a chance you will get these kinds of comments.
